How on Earth does she balance everything? How do they manage to do everything? Why are there not more hours in the day? Why can’t I seem to get everything finished? Urgh, how comes she has the most perfect life?
Ever felt yourself asking these questions? Let’s admit it, most of us at one point or another have felt these nagging thoughts enter our brains. We can sometimes come up against a wall, feeling as if we can’t manage and we can’t balance everything in our life right now.
I’ve seen it happen so many times. We spend so long comparing our lives to everyone else’s, that we lose track of what our life balance is, as we feel it’s not the same as someone else’s. Chances are, you’ve researched into your favourite blogger’s/health inspiration’s/soul-sister’s daily routine… You wanted to find out just how she manages to do it all…

Some wonderful reporting, as always, from Rachael Maddow.

I read an interesting article this morning. It can be found here. There was a study done that measured children’s hydration levels upon arriving at school. Surprisingly a majority of children were dehydrated. Dehydration affects your ability to concentrate and pay attention to details. Not only that but it can affect your energy levels…I’m sure teachers don’t mind that part so much. No one wants there kid tired and not paying attention in school. I want mine energetic and soaking in all that good information like a sponge in the sea of knowledge. An already moist sponge apparently. So they say juice and milk the two most common drinks in the morning just don’t cut it. Kids need to drink water before they go to school. I guess it’s time to cut back on the juice and up the water intake.
Fist a couple of my favorites that I have made many times and love!
Best Bread Machine Bread – This is my favorite bread machine recipe. You can add a mix of herbs and spices and make a really awesome bread for sandwiches that gives them a little something special.
Oven Baked Potato Chips – I love…LOVE potato chips. They are not good for you and they are kind of expensive but if there is ever anything that I get a mega craving for it’s potato chips. At least when you make them at home they are not fried and you know what went into them. As a bonus you can flavor them any way you want and they are sooooo good.
Maybe these are just wishful thinking…or maybe someday I will get a bug in my beehive and make one of these:
Catalan Sauteed Polenta & Butter Beans
Prosciutto-Wrapped Scallops with Spinach
These are all Mediterranean Diet inspired. I like the idea of eating less meat and more fish and seafood.

Movement is the final output of the brain. Every thought you have eventually leads to movement, action.
